Ahmer Kunwar


A former Whitehall government communications advisor to the Cabinet Office, Home Office, Ministry of Justice and the UK Trade & Investment, Ahmer Kunwar’s passion took him swiftly into the world of football business.

Ahmer launched the GREAT BRITAIN campaign, spearheading it for No.10 Downing Street and was responsible for the UK’s export marketing strategy in Turkey, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Mexico and India.

A seasoned marketeer with an MBA in Marketing and a graduate of London’s City Business School, Ahmer brings a wealth of stakeholder management skills, industry contacts, and know-how on offering a global perspective on international business collaborations.

Prior to pursuing his career in Whitehall, Ahmer held various marketing roles with global brands at British Airways, United Airlines, Bloomberg Television, IAG and at London’s Metropolitan Police Service at the New Scotland Yard.

The football transfer of Christian Fuchs to Leicester City in the year when Leicester City won the English Premier League was a key turning point, Ahmer has never looked back with TSG football operations since and has grown from strength to strength in global player recruitment, player transfer brokerage to structuring commercial deals for professonal clubs and players all around the world.

Having cultivated trusted relationships in the world of football, Ahmer convinced Ronaldinho Gaucho and Ryan Giggs amongst other renowned legends to visit Pakistan. This ground-breaking tour was the first international exhibition match in market. Ronaldinho & Friends was billed as a global phenomenon overnight.
